UNIQLO’s 100% Supima Cotton T-Shirt is a white T-shirt made from 100% Supima cotton, according to UNIQLO, and produced in India. This review documents its construction, fit, comfort and development through repeated wear and washing.
Product overview
1. Fabric and construction in new condition
The images below document the fabric, collar and seam construction in new condition, before washing.

The jersey appears fine and regular in close-up, with a smooth surface and little obvious irregularity in the knit. The ribbed collar is medium in width and neatly attached. The internal seams use conventional overlock construction. One of the side seams is noticeably asymmetrical, however, with the seam line running unevenly along the side of the shirt. This gives the construction a surprisingly careless appearance in an otherwise neatly finished garment.

Dimensions and weight
The UNIQLO T-shirt showed the most substantial dimensional change after the first wash. Body length decreased from 72.7 to 69.2 cm, and shoulder width decreased from 46.5 to 44.1 cm. Sleeve length and hem width also decreased, while chest width was measured slightly wider after washing. Overall, the first wash made the garment noticeably shorter and more compact, especially in length, sleeves and shoulders.

4. Traceability and sustainability
UNIQLO responded but provided no additional product-specific traceability or supporting information.
Supply-chain traceability
Assessment pending: The Supima claim points to U.S. cotton and the tested garment is labeled made in India, but its factory and intermediate stages have not been linked to this T-shirt.
Locations and scores will appear here once the product-specific information has been assessed.
Each stage scores 0 if unknown, 0.5 if identified by the brand, or 1 if the brand provided documentation that WTL reviewed and found to substantiate the stated location for this T-shirt or its production batch. Full method →
Source note
The cotton-origin entry and the remaining scores are provisional pending product-specific follow-up. A manufacturing country alone does not identify stage 5.
Product-specific sustainability evidence
Status terms refer to product-specific evidence available for review. “None documented” does not necessarily mean that the feature or practice is absent.
